I find it very interesting when I come across labels that are not very well suited for their application. .
We bought a grill today at Lowes with a brand label across the lid. A proper label for this application would be a label with removable adhesive. This label however used a permenant adhesive. When we tried to remove it, it ripped apart and left the adhasive and substrate on the grill.
For me, as a consumer, this is extremely annoying. I am left with a partially peeled label on my grill. So, I can leave it and hope it comes off after I use it, or I can scrub it the rest of the way off. Either way, this is a negative impression for Char-Griller that could have been very easily avoided by choosing a label with a removable adhesive.
